[S166] A Fouga CM170 Magister can be found in the interesting Shannon Aviation Museum. The museum depicts the importance of Shannon airfield, one of Europe's most Western airports, the starting point for many transatlantic flights. This Fouga jet served with the Irish Air Corps in 70s, 80s and 90s until it was replace by the Pilatus PC-9 turbo-prop. | Withdrawn from use in 1999. Preserved at Collins Barracks, Dublin by 2013 then at the Shannon Aviation Museum from 2021. | To New-Zealand in 1998 as ZK-FGA. Destroyed in fatal crash, Firth of Thames, Kaiaua, New Zealand March 19, 2004. Irish Air Corps serial « 216 » = MSN 358. Ex-Collins Barracks (Dublin), transféré au Shannon Aviation Museum (Co. Clare), intérieur, excellent état. [S207]
